Commendations

Many know E. Rose Sabin for her excellent stories of fantasy and superb literary editing skills; however, look a little deeper and you will discover that her editing skills extend to technical works with equal capability. Rose has completed complex editing for security-rated military Training Support Packages; as well as, in-depth scripts for video production and televised training for military staff and first responders world wide. Currently, she is editing an all-hazards First Aid book and the final report for a major vulnerable populations disaster preparedness study. Fiction, nonfiction or technical, Rose will always be my preferred editor.

Every writer needs an editor to fine-tune her work into an appealing story that captures the reader's attention and doesn't let go until the final page is turned. My own experience of working with an editor has been positive and helpful. Editing isn't just about adding commas, avoiding repetitions, or creating believable characters. Elenora Sabin's editing has helped me as a writer. As a result of our editorial collaboration, I sped up the beginning of my stories and got the plot up and running more quickly. Don't wait another day. Get an editor who can help you improve the consistency of the characters plus the freshness and originality of the plot. You'll be glad you did.

Though E. Rose Sabin, editor and author of fantasy, has always been an honest, reliable, and positive and diligent individual, her editorial work on my novel, Forbidden surpassed my expectations. When I gave her the assignment, I asked her to provide me with feedback on the novel, so I could prepare it for submissions to agents and publishers or independently publishing it. Her comments, questions, insights, and recommendations were not only priceless, but come from decades of master storytelling, which provided me with tools I have been able to use while writing fiction again and again. She is especially good at communicating either by phone or via email (depending on her client’s preferences). Basically, she’s flexible. Sabin’s professional services also crossover into the often more difficult territory of synopsis, book blurbs, and query letter writing. Working with Sabin has clearly increased my confidence as a writer. Since working with her, I have sold short stories and poems to magazines.

I had the opportunity to work with Elenora a couple of years ago, and I found her to have been thorough in the comments she shared with me in relation to my memoir. She was very patient and she took a lot of time away from her busy schedule to help make corrections to my manuscript. I have learned some tips and tricks about narrative writing from Elenora that I still use today.
Lastly, Elenora took time to prepare to invite me as a guest interviewer on her blog posting to help promote my memoir. I would highly recommend Elenora to anyone who is in need of an editor!
